Top Venture Capitalists in Cybersecurity

The venture firms writing the most cybersecurity checks, ranked and scored on activity and deal flow from our live deal tracker — each with a battle card.

How the Venture Capitalists are scored

Every firm's score is calculated from the 480 deals in our tracker (2026-01-06 to 2026-10-01) — not from reputation or fund performance — and it updates automatically as deals are added. Each component is scaled against the most active firm on this page.

  • Deal flow (40%) — number of rounds participated in.
  • Capital (20%) — disclosed value of those deals.
  • Momentum (20%) — deals in the last 90 days and how recently the latest one closed.
  • Stage breadth (10%) — how many stages (Seed, A, B, Growth) it has backed.
  • Portfolio quality (10%) — average Innovation Matrix score of the companies in its deals that we also score.

A firm only appears in the ranking once the tracker records at least one deal for it. Missing deals mean a lower score, so treat this as a measure of tracked activity, not a complete picture of every firm's investing.
