Raz-Lee Security

Raz-Lee Security is a veteran cybersecurity vendor founded in 1983, originally headquartered in Herzliya, Israel and now operating out of Nanuet, New York, with a technical support and account management presence in San Francisco and additional offices in Israel and Italy. The company has spent more than 40 years focused entirely on one platform: securing IBM i (formerly AS/400) servers, which remain in wide use for core transaction processing at banks, insurers, retailers, and manufacturers despite being far less visible in mainstream security industry conversation than Windows, Linux, or cloud workloads.

Raz-Lee’s iSecurity suite bundles more than 20 individual products covering firewall, audit, SIEM integration, compliance reporting, authority-on-demand privileged access, anti-virus, anti-ransomware, and change tracking, all purpose-built for IBM i’s unique object-based architecture and command language. The suite is explicitly positioned to help IBM i shops meet GDPR, PCI DSS, and SOX requirements and to feed IBM i activity into mainstream SIEM and database activity monitoring tools that otherwise have no native visibility into the platform.

Raz-Lee occupies a genuine, durable niche: as long as IBM i systems keep running business-critical workloads, there is a real, ongoing need for dedicated security tooling built for that platform specifically, and Raz-Lee’s four-decade track record is itself a credibility signal in a market where trust and platform-specific expertise matter more than flashy marketing. It remains a small, privately held company, however, and its growth and reach are inherently capped by the shrinking, if still substantial, population of organizations still running IBM i.
