Overview

QueryPie provides a unified access governance platform built on Zero Trust principles, letting enterprises centrally manage and monitor privileged access to databases, servers and infrastructure from a single control plane. Rather than bolting database access control onto a generic PAM tool, QueryPie was purpose-built around structured-data access — who queried what, when, and under what approval — which is the workflow database administrators and data engineers actually operate in day to day.

Founded in 2016 in Seoul (originally as CHEQUER Inc.) and backed by Y Combinator, Salesforce Ventures and SoftBank’s Z Venture Capital among others, QueryPie has raised roughly $36-46 million to date. The company has recently extended its access-governance model beyond databases and servers to AI tools, launching QueryPie AIP to apply the same centralized access, approval and audit logic to enterprise use of agentic AI systems.
