Fluency Security

Fluency Security, built by Fluency Corp out of Greenbelt, Maryland, sells what it calls an “unbounded SIEM” — a security information and event management platform designed to be queried by AI assistants (it names ChatGPT and Claude specifically) through the Model Context Protocol rather than navigated through pre-built dashboards and static reports. The pitch is that an analyst, or an AI agent acting on an analyst’s behalf, can ask an investigative question directly against streaming log and telemetry data and get an answer shaped to the question, instead of hunting through a fixed set of report templates.

Architecturally, Fluency describes itself as headless: instead of a single rigid UI, it exposes packaged “skills” for different operational tasks — tenant health monitoring, billing review, behavioral (UEBA) analysis, MITRE ATT&CK coverage reporting, detection tuning, and schema discovery — that can be invoked by whichever interface (human or AI client) is doing the work. It positions this against legacy SIEM platforms that were built around dashboards first and query flexibility second.

Fluency’s actual customer base is disclosed only at the MSSP level: six named managed security service provider partners (Fortify 24×7, Securicom, PTP Cloud, CyberClan, CarbonHelix, and XO Cyber) resell or operate the platform on behalf of their own clients, but no specific enterprise end-customer names, breach outcomes, or third-party performance evaluations are published. That makes Fluency a genuinely early-stage bet on where AI-driven SIEM is heading, backed by a real and technically coherent architecture, rather than a platform with a long independent track record yet.
