AssurePoint, founded in August 2025 and based in Sydney, is a cloud security assessment firm specializing in IRAP (Information Security Registered Assessors Program) assessments, plus ISM and Essential Eight assessments, preparedness reviews and gap assessments. It has been led since inception by Shaun Kumar, an endorsed ASD IRAP assessor with prior experience at Accenture and in Australian government cyber roles. A-LIGN, the Tampa, Florida-based compliance auditor, announced the acquisition on September 22, 2026 to offer IRAP assessments and enter the Australian market. Financial terms were not disclosed.
