Logiq, founded in Bristol in 2018 by Rich Forder, James Walker, Rob Guegan and James Morgan, is an NCSC-assured cybersecurity consultancy serving defence, government and other regulated organizations. Its work spans cybersecurity assurance, Secure by Design, secure systems engineering, digital transformation and managed services, and it developed DISX, a secure collaboration portfolio for organizations working with UK defence and government bodies. It has grown to more than 235 people.
IBM announced the acquisition on September 24, 2026; terms were not disclosed. Logiq will join SiXworks, the defence specialist IBM acquired in 2024, as part of IBM’s push into UK defence and public-sector work.
