Aeris is a three-decade-old cellular IoT connectivity provider that powers more than 100 million devices across 190 countries for roughly 7,000 enterprise customers. IoT Watchtower uses Aeris’s own AI models and known-threat databases to provide real-time visibility into device traffic, including destinations, ports, and protocols, and enforces zero-trust policy controls to block malicious activity as it happens. Because it monitors traffic across 25 mobile operator networks, Aeris can apply this visibility at a scale most standalone IoT security vendors cannot match. As the broader Aeris business is a large, established connectivity provider, this is best understood as a scoped security offering layered onto a mature, non-security-primary company rather than a dedicated cybersecurity startup.
