Sacumen is a cybersecurity product-engineering services company that specializes exclusively in building integrations and connectors between security products and the wider ecosystem of platforms they need to talk to, including SIEM, SOAR, network security, secure access, data protection, cloud security, and vulnerability management tools. Rather than building an end-user security product itself, Sacumen works on behalf of cybersecurity vendors to accelerate the unglamorous but commercially important work of interoperability.

Founded in 2015, the company offers two platforms, SacuNXT and AutoNXT, to speed up connector development and automated integration testing, alongside a marketplace of 250+ prebuilt connectors with source code available to customers. It reports having built more than 3,000 connectors and delivering 250+ integrations per quarter across roughly 94 global product clients, with more than 425 technology partnerships spanning vendors like Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, and CrowdStrike.

Because security products increasingly compete and win deals based on how broadly and reliably they integrate with the rest of a customer’s stack, Sacumen’s specialization addresses a real bottleneck for security vendors that would otherwise need to build and maintain this integration engineering in-house.
