Aiuken Cybersecurity is a Madrid-based managed detection and response (MDR) and managed security services provider founded in 2012 by former Telefonica executive Juan Miguel Velasco. Headquartered in Boadilla del Monte, Community of Madrid, the company operates a 24/7 security operations center delivering threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and cloud security services to enterprise and public-sector clients across Spain, Latin America, and other regions, with roughly 100-120 employees spanning five continents.

In September 2022, Aiuken was acquired by Allurity AB, a Stockholm-based cybersecurity consolidator backed by the impact investor Trill Impact that has assembled a portfolio of independent European MSSPs and security consultancies under a shared group structure while letting each acquired brand retain its local market identity and leadership. Aiuken continues to operate under its own name and management within the Allurity group, giving it access to shared threat intelligence and cross-selling opportunities across Allurity’s other national brands without the integration overhead of a full merger.

Aiuken’s differentiator in the crowded MDR/MSSP market is its long-standing footprint in Spanish and Latin American public-sector and telecom accounts, built over more than a decade under founder-led leadership before the Allurity acquisition, a regional depth that pan-European or US-based MDR platforms often lack. Independent verification of Aiuken’s specific detection and response metrics is limited; most performance claims are vendor-published rather than third-party audited, consistent with the broader regional-MSSP segment.
