Geordie AI builds an "agent-native" security platform aimed at a problem most enterprises do not yet have good tooling for: discovering which autonomous AI agents are running inside the organization, what systems and data those agents can reach, and whether their behavior has drifted from what was intended. As companies plug LLM-based agents into internal systems and give them standing permissions to take actions rather than just answer questions, the attack surface shifts from static code to dynamic, semi-autonomous processes that traditional endpoint or identity tools were not built to monitor.

The company was founded in London in April 2025 by a team with backgrounds at Darktrace and Snyk, including CEO Henry Comfort (formerly COO for the Americas at Darktrace), Hanah-Marie Darley (formerly Director of Security and AI Strategy at Darktrace), and CTO Benji Weber (formerly Senior Director of Engineering at Snyk). Geordie exited stealth in September 2025 with a $6.5 million seed round co-led by Ten Eleven Ventures and General Catalyst, then raised a $30 million Series A in May 2026 led by Balderton Capital at a reported valuation of roughly $180 million — among the largest Series A rounds for a European cybersecurity startup to date. The company has grown to roughly 37 employees across London and New York as of mid-2026.

Geordie’s real-time discovery and behavior-monitoring approach places it in the emerging AI agent security category alongside a small number of other recent entrants, competing on the premise that agent governance needs purpose-built tooling rather than being bolted onto existing SIEM, CASB, or identity platforms not designed to reason about autonomous, tool-using software.
