Conceal builds ConcealBrowse, a browser-native security layer that turns any standard browser into an isolated, zero-trust browsing environment without requiring a dedicated secure-browser client. The core mechanism routes unknown or unverified URLs through remote browser isolation, so any malicious code or file embedded in a suspicious page never actually reaches the endpoint, while known-safe traffic continues to flow normally to avoid the performance and usability penalties of isolating everything. This targets phishing, credential theft, malware, and ransomware delivered through the browser, which remains one of the most common initial-access vectors in real intrusions.

The company was originally founded in 2012 as NetAbstraction, focused on network obfuscation and secure connectivity, before rebranding as Conceal and shifting its primary product focus to browser isolation. It is headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, with additional operations in Augusta, Georgia, and is led by CEO Gordon Lawson. Conceal raised a $9 million Series A in 2021 and a $26 million Series B led by Two Bear Capital, bringing total disclosed funding to roughly $35 million.

Remote browser isolation is an established security category with several larger, more heavily resourced competitors (secure-browser and SASE vendors among them); Conceal’s differentiation is its patented approach to selectively isolating only unverified traffic rather than isolating everything, and its go-to-market emphasis on MSPs and MSSPs reselling the capability to smaller customers who couldn’t otherwise afford dedicated isolation infrastructure.
