Cyberfort Group is a UK cybersecurity consolidator built through private-equity-backed acquisition rather than organic product development. Backed by Palatine Private Equity, the group has combined The Bunker (ultra-secure cloud and colocation hosting), Arcturus (penetration testing), Agenci (cyber security consultancy), and Auriga Consulting (governance, risk and compliance, plus a proprietary SOC/SIEM stack branded Compass and Cybergator) into a single commercial entity. That roll-up strategy gives Cyberfort breadth across the security lifecycle — assess, protect, detect, respond — that few standalone UK MSSPs of similar size can match.

Founded as a group in 2017 and headquartered in the UK (with facilities including The Bunker’s high-security data centre), Cyberfort now runs CREST- and CHECK-accredited penetration testing services alongside managed SOC, Cyber Essentials certification support, and compliance consulting for UK government and enterprise clients. Auriga’s legacy client base, built since its 2012 founding, includes UK HMG departments and agencies, giving the group real public-sector credibility that a newer entrant would lack.

For CISOs, Cyberfort’s value is consolidation: a single vendor relationship covering secure hosting, offensive testing, SOC monitoring, and compliance advisory, which can simplify vendor management for mid-sized UK organizations with public-sector or defense-adjacent compliance obligations. The tradeoff inherent to any acquisition roll-up is integration risk — the underlying SOC, hosting, and consulting capabilities were built by four previously separate companies, and how tightly those technology stacks and delivery teams have actually been unified is not independently documented.
